Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about registration, conference structure, location details, and who to contact if you get stuck.

1. When and where will ACWA's 2026 Fall Conference be?

The ACWA 2026 Fall Conference will take place December 1-3, 2026 in Anaheim, CA at the Anaheim Marriott.

2. NEW! What is a Registration Coordinator?

We're excited to introduce our updated online registration system, designed to make registering for ACWA conferences and events more efficient and convenient for your organization. Registration Coordinators will be able to register on behalf of one or more attendees, receive the group registration discount (if eligible), pay for the group in one transaction, and receive copies of all registration communication. This new process helps ensure registrations are accurate, simplifies payment and recordkeeping, and makes it easier to manage your organization's attendees in one place.

Because this process is different from our previous registration system, we've developed a list of FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS to help guide you through the new experience.

3. Does ACWA offer a hotel block?

Yes. ACWA has negotiated the largest hotel room block available at the Anaheim Marriott for the ACWA 2026 Fall Conference at a discounted rate of $239 per night, plus taxes and fees.

Hotel reservation information is available to registered conference attendees only.

4. What is the cancellation policy?

All registration changes and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by November 20, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. (PT).

  • August 19–November 3, 2026: Receive a refund of registration fees paid, minus a $75 administrative processing fee.
  • November 4–20, 2026: Receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid.
  • After November 20, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. (PT): No refunds will be issued.

Review the full Attendee Terms & Conditions for additional policies and important information.

5. Is there a downloadable conference flyer that includes key event information?

Yes! Download and print the ACWA 2026 Fall Conference Flyer here, or use the link provided on the conference homepage for an at-a-glance view of important conference details.

6. Who can I contact for event questions?

Email the ACWA Events Team or call (916) 441-4545.

7. How can I get help with the registration account login?

Contact the Portal Support Team.

8. What meals are included in my registration?

A full-conference registration pass includes access to all networking meal functions, snack stations, keynote sessions, conference programs, the Exhibit Hall, ACWA-hosted receptions, and designated on-demand conference recordings.

One-day passes include all meals and activities listed above for the selected day only.

Because ACWA offers an all-inclusive registration experience, attendees with a valid conference badge may join any ACWA meal function or snack station—no separate meal tickets are required.

9. What is the fraudulent housing alert?

Please be aware that unauthorized companies may contact attendees, exhibitors, and other conference participants claiming to manage hotel reservations on ACWA's behalf. ACWA has not contracted with any third-party housing company.

To avoid potential scams, only book your hotel through the official ACWA reservation link provided in your registration confirmation.

10. I received an email claiming to have an attendee list for sale. Is ACWA selling attendee information?

No. ACWA does not sell member or conference attendee contact information.

Be cautious of emails claiming to offer ACWA attendee lists for sale. These solicitations are fraudulent and are not authorized by ACWA.

Conference sponsors and exhibitors receive attendee names, mailing addresses, and phone numbers only. ACWA does not share attendee email addresses or other personal information.

11. How do I register for the ACWA JPIA Membership Summit?

The ACWA JPIA Membership Summit is a separate event held concurrently with ACWA conferences. For registration information, please visit the ACWA JPIA website or contact Laura Davis at ldavis@acwajpia.com.
